Limit Edition Giclée Print
Limited Edition of 1000 prints
2008
I captured this image of the famous Mack and Manco Pizza stall while on a summer family vacation. Located on the New Jersey boardwalk, the shot was an intentional play on Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks.  The original shot did not include the beach, which was actually behind me. My solution was to impose the New Jersey beach behind and through the restaurant. I choose this color palette to capture the art deco design and ninety-six degree summer heat.

What Is A Giclée Print?
This giclée print is currently the highest quality standard for printing limited edition prints. The term "giclée" (pronounced "ZHEE-CLAY") is a French word meaning "to spray." Giclée watercolor prints are created by spraying millions of droplets of ink onto archival watercolor paper. Prints are produced on state of the art printers, using an eight color pigmentation process with 100% archival inks. Giclée prints made with these wide-gamut pigmented inks are estimated to last over 80 years without noticeable fading. The growing recognition within the art community of the giclée print makes it a recognizable addition to my current artistic offerings.

What is a limited edition print?
Every limited print is signed and numbered by me. The prints are numbered in the order they are purchased with lowest numbers being issued first. Limited edition prints, signed and dated by the artist are generally more valuable to art buyers for the obvious reasons of limited supply. If the demand exceeds the availability of the art, the prices and desirability increases.
