This painting was developed from a very dark color print I took in 1985. What excited me was the patterns under the ‘L’ track. I was exploring different planes of colors influenced from my earlier piece Midday Sun. I found each bus window almost a painting in itself. I further explored using a nontraditional color palette with this painting.
